Yay! I read where they were beginning the renovation soon. It shouldnt take them too long to get it together. This will be an amazing location for them!

No, it's one exit south of there in between Caruth Haven and Southwestern next to the Taco Bueno and new Ihop.

Here is the location in Frisco:

This side will be the drive thru. It is typical for their drive thru areas to be covered. I drove past today and the drive thru frame is complete. The opposite side will be the front entrance. At least, that is the lay out of the In-N-Out locations I grew up with in California.

This is how it appears from Preston.

That's strange. The In-N-Out I grew up near didn't have the drive thru covered. Wonder if that's a new thing?

So they really are building them here huh? That's pretty cool, but unexpected. When I was stationed in San Diego while in the Navy I went to In-N-Out every once in a while. I thought the burgers and the fries were OK but nothing to go banana's about.

All of my Navy buddies who were from Texas would say that Whataburger was MUCH better and put In-N-out to shame. Of course, I still haven't tried Whataburger, so I can't really confirm that as of right now.

Anyway, I heard that Firewheel Center in Garland was supposed to be the location of the first one. Where else are they building them here in DFW and does anyone know when any of them are supposed to open? Like I said, I never got excited about In-N-out, but it was good enough that I will take it over Mc Donalds, Jack-In-The Box, and Burger King anyday.

You know what I believe it is. Ever since the late 90's and on.

I grew up in Southern California and to me In-N-Out is what Whataburger is to people that grew up in Texas. I think Whataburger is gross, like a lot of people have their opinions about In-N-Out, but I am over the moon excited that they are building locations here.

Firewheel was suppose to be the first location, but I heard they were having some sort of problem with that area. I know there is the one I spoke of off of 75 in a less then desirable location for traffic, one in Frisco and one in Fort Worth.

LOL. We grew up with In-N-Out and when I was in a youth group we would go to Arizona and we would all HAVE TO stop at Whataburger in Phoenix. Typical humans. We want what we can't have.

Yes, Garland was merely the first announced location because it just happened to be the first one approved by the city. From what I have heard construction there hasn't even began. According to their Facebook, Frisco and Allen will be the first locations to open and possibly Caruth Haven/75 in Dallas, as well.

Locations:
Dallas (2) -The second Dallas location is supposed to be at Coit/635, or so I read.
Frisco (1)
Allen (1)
Cedar Hill (1)
Garland (1)
Las Colinas (1)
Hurst (1)
Fort Worth (1)

Those 9 locations will be the first wave.
