LOL. Your knowledge of what is said on MSNBC seems limited by what FOX News tells you they said.

As far as you incendiary use of the word liberal, I ask you to wrap you conservative brain around this. Ronald Wilson Regan doubled the size of government in 8 years. George Walker Bush increased federal spending from $1.83 trillion to $3.57 trillion in 8 years. Conversely, during the 12 years Bush41/Clinton the growth of government was less than 5% per year and the 1st two years of Obama government growth was 4.5% & 4.7%.

Now when you vote for Republican McDonnell you know what you will be voting for; and the last 30 years history says it will be larger government.

Interesting...who would have thought a women who quit highschool at 16, with nothing but a GED and started her career in politics as a clerk in the House of Representatives would serve two terms as Delaware Governor? Just say'n....

I apologize for the unusual moderation on this thread but I really want to keep it on-topic and Delaware centered.

I thought the idea was to throw the **** out. Might have to go with some candidates who seem other than conventionally political.

If your goal is to just change for change sake, then it does not matter who you vote for. Either McDonnell or Coons are change. Or are only Democrats bastards? The Russians threw the bastards out on 1917 and promptly got 70 years of Communism.

If citizens want to effect change in Government it will come in these 3 orderly steps, none of which can be skipped.
1) Become educated on the issues affecting your life today.
2) Ask candidates their solution to the issues affecting your life and vote for the candidate whom closes reflects your believed solutions to the issues. Delaware politics is retail and speaking with the candidates is easy. Ms McDonnell being the exception.
3) Stay in contact with your Representatives/Senators, whether your candidate won election or not, in a educated way. If you don't have 5-10 minutes to write each month or 30 minutes to spend in a Representative's office year then you have a priority issue, not a Government issue.

Less than 50% of voters actually vote and void special interest form letters less that 1% of voters actually contact their representative. If you want to find the problem with Washington DC look no further than your own bathroom mirror. The power of a educated voter is more powerful than a special interest dollar. That is the revolution that needs to happen; the overthrow of apathy and ignorance.

I don't live in Delaware but hope too some day. Coming from a state like NJ where you are taxed for the air you breath and it is is a known fact that 70,000 people left the state because of harsh regulations and intrusion into lives and money earned, I like Christine. She is a breadth of fresh air. Plus, now that she won, how can you not vote for her. The Democrate is a known tax and spend guy and has been influenced by the socialist philosophy for so long that he scares me much more than somebody who wants limited government. I worked hard for my money, don't you? Why not let YOU decide how to spend it. When life was easier here, I choose to take the leap and open a business and employed people and offered a great service. As government intrusion, taxes and regulations increased my cost of providing that service increased and my ability to continue to grow shrank. By now, I can't even afford the aspirin I need for the headache I have all the time. The last time we had an increase in rates we can charge for working with the NJ government was 10 years ago while their demands increase each year. That is diminishing returns for sure. The quality of service never improved because of these intrusions, so what the heck was all that about? Me thinks more money in their coffers! That's Democratic control. Almost 100% of the time, entrepreneurs put THEIR houses and money on the line and they should be rewarded for taking the risk not charged by government without recourse. Anyway, for those who think the other guy is better- hide your money and your kids money.
Finally, did you ever notice that the big cities and states controlled by the Dems over long years and decades are the ones in financial trouble? Why do you think that is?

One thing that surprises me the most out of Christine O'Donnell, is that she is from Moorestown, South Jersey. For those of you who don't know, Moorestown is the richest town in that part of the state. I would say that most people in that area don't even go to church.

Go figure.

Finally Mrs. O'Donnell was available for an interview. my favorite part:

"Whether it’s Don Mell or Congressman Castle – what I’m hoping is that on Nov. 2, they’ll realize my opponent supports these massive tax increases. I will fight to stop them. That’s the bottom line – whether or not we can afford the tax increases.”

Exclusive: An interview with Christine O'Donnell - Middletown, DE - Middletown Transcript

no, we can NOT afford NOT increasing taxes. and - it won't hit only single moms with $ 1000 each - it even better will hit folks earning $250000 with a couple of thousand dollars.
too bad, she did not tell us where she will get the money from ....

Well you all have a big choice, whether or not you want the same old thing in Washington or to give someone else a chance to prove to you they can truly help. You can always Vote her out next Election but if the other guy wins all you have is just another crook in Washington.

I understand wanting to replace people that are not doing their job, but I don't think it makes sense to throw someone out of office just because they are not new. As voters, we all have an obligation and responsibility to investigate whoever is running for office and vote for the person that we think will represent us the best. If I were a Delaware voter I know I would have voted for Castle and I'm sorry he won't be up for election. I don't think that the two choices you have left are the best people.
