I am starting a new job in New Castle, but have decided to keep living in Philadelphia for personal reasons. I will be commuting to New Castle from the Fairmount/Art Museum area in Philadelphia on the weekdays, and will be aiming to arrive at work by about 8:15am, and leave around 4pm.

I understand that my commute will be about 45 minutes, and I will have to deal with some traffic, but I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and what your experience has been, particularly during those specific hours on the road.

Thanks in advance!

I commuted from South Jersey to Wilmington for a summer when I was an intern... it wasn't too bad coming in but usually there was a block of traffic for a few minutes on 95 going towards the Com. Barry Bridge. I decided to go a few miles out of my way to cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge instead (using 295) and it was better but that wouldn't make much sense for you
