exactly what you mean. Eating can be pretty painful for a while. I stuck to very soft foods like soups, applesauce, etc. Eating with dentures is still a hassle for me, even when using an adhesive. When I'm eating out, I use the adhesive. When I'm eating at home, the dentures go into the soaking cup and I gum my way through dinner. Unfortunately, gnawing on corn on the cob, biting into a fresh crisp apple are not options. Neither is extra crispy KFC. Might be able to do that with implant dentures though.
