Hello, I just got mezzanine1 tickets to the symphony to see Brandi Carlile. When I looked at the seating chart I see that the seating is BEHIND the stage. Now I'm worried I just spent 100 bucks to surprise my honey, only the surprise will be watching Brandi's back all night . I'm so disappointed. Has anyone gone to the symphany to see a singer? How are the Mezz 1 seats for this? Thanks for your help. Boettcher Concert Hall - Denver Colorado Symphony Orchestra

Boettcher has always been in the round, and most artists try to face all sides of the hall. If she is performing with the symphony, then the symphony will be between you and the singer. On a bright note (no pun intended), you will be really close to the stage, just not so close to the singer.

davidv, you da bomb! Sounds like I may not have much to worry about (watching the back of the artist's head all night) Thanks for your response. Anyone else seen an artist perform at the Boettcher?
