Anyone eat out in Castle Rock? They have a number of decent places considering the size of town. We've enjoyed The Union American Bistro as well as the Augustana Grill. The food is better at the Union (IMO) and the Augustana Grill is a bit old-ladyish in decor but the food is decent and the guitar player is enjoyable - particularly outside during the summer.

Breakfast at Jelly Cafe on Evans by DU.

Started off with the Irish Coffee, wife had the Mimosa...along with their special Jelly donuts...so good.
Then had the Chorizo sweet potato hash with eggs over easy and marble rye toast. Awesome.

My wife and I did not like snooze at all. Over hyped for what it offers (or doesn't offer).

Snooze is solid IMO. The hash browns, sausage and coffee is better than most.

Their brunch drinks are top notch, bloodymarys especially... I think the drinks are what people really wait for.

Love that place! I pile it up on my plate, too. Wife is usually embarrassed LOL!

We hit Maggianos for the first time in a while (yes, I know technically its a chain and this thread is mostly mom and pops). But they have a winter seasonal menu going on through January that was delicious. Lobster mac'n'cheese was great, and they had a peppermint bread pudding with Andes Candies baked into the crust. It was to die for! After the first bite I was like
