Those are Colorado Geese. They were born here. They are hoping to continue to fly under the radar until the snow makes them harder to see.

Odd. We have a horrible goose problem at my office (near Centennial airport) where they hang out and harass people coming into the building all winter lol! And in winter, they're constantly flying over our house and honking in Stapleton. But then I haven't seen a single goose since maybe late May. I don't recall ever hearing geese in mid summer.
