Jimanos is good for stuffed chicago style pizza on Broadway near Dartmouth. Finally an authentic chi-town pie. TRY the 'Stuffed' it is very good! There is a Carmens(now called 'Chicago' I think) in Santa Fe - a bit of a drive but that is authentic stuffed pizza too ...!!

1) So what, exactly, defines "Chicago Style Pizza?" So far it seems to be "Deep Dish or Thin Crust cut into triangles or squares that can have toppings on it (if you want) and tastes better than Pizza not authentically made in Chicago." I've always had the same trouble with "New York Style Pizza" (which in my experience means greasy, but maybe that's the Manhattan thing again) or even Philly Cheese Steaks. As far as I can tell, the main thing that makes these so superior is enjoying them in their native habitats.

2) Beau Jo's got mountain pies anyway...and as a fan of fine pizza that's pretty darn tasty to me.

Quoted for truth.

No such thing as Chicago style pizza in Denver. I've looked everywhere and tried a bunch. It all sucks.

I just had some frozen Lou Malnati's shipped to me from Chicago. My God, it was sooo good. I hadn't had any in like a year.

I know nothing about this place but I am sure this will excite a few people.

Legendary Chicago pizza restaurant may expand to Denver
