If anyone still has their old books - I could use a little help here. From what I can remember the basic plan was:

2 servings of Milk products (90 cal)
3 servings of Fruit (60 cal)
3 servings of Bread (80 cal)
2 (or more) of Veg (50 cal)
3 servings of Fats (40 cal)
6-8 servings of Protein (70 cal)
150 option cal per day

So - not counting veg about 1430 cal per day.

I seem to remember getting extra calories for exercise? This isn't the quick start (week 1-3)

The current WW's is much better than the old. Why the fascination with these old books?

Yeah the new WW points plus is better and lot easier. I hated the old WW from the 1990's but to each his own. I have lost 48 1/2 lbs in 1 year so far. But to each his own

Hi, I thought this old one worked really well. I was on it years ago, but couldn't find a copy. I created a make-shift booklet and old Weight Watcher Plan details: see link below. Hope it helps!

I have always thought weight watchers is the best "diet" out there. It is really not even a diet. But the problem I am having , it seems like you have to pay so much money to follow it. Can I get their plan on the internet without paying for it?

Thank you so much, easybay, for providing the basic plan from the 90s! I LOVED that plan but unfortunately it went by the wayside many years ago. I've often thought about it and wished I'd kept my literature. Reading your list, though, is pretty much as I was remembering it so now I'm really motivated to get back on that plan again.

I'm remembering that
1 serving of milk = 1 cup
1 serving of fruit = 1 apple, 1/2 banana, 1 pear, @ 12 grapes, 1 orange, 1/2 grapefruit (at least I think that's right)
1 bread = 1 slice, 1/2 cup cereal (I think)
1 veggie = at least 1/2 cup of the vegetable but you could usually do much more
1 fat = 1 tsp. butter OR 1 TBL peanut butter OR 1 TBL oil (I think)
1 protein = 1 oz. of the meat or fish OR 1 egg

I know you can have a potato but does anyone know if they're considered a bread or a veggie?

Sel529, thank you for posting your form! I'm going to use it!

Again, thank you to both easybay and sel529!
