By your own admission you didn't speak with her about her dog because it was none of your business. So when you post things like:

It is pure speculation on your part. You don't know where she lives, or how she treats her dog. You overheard a few fragments of conversation and instantly jumped to conclusions.

Without knowing where she lived, how exactly did you know this?
Please tell me that you don't serve on a jury. With the way you jump to unsubstantiated conclusions you're liable to convict the innocent more often than the guilty.
