I've been to smelter cemetery 3 times and the 3 times i've gone i've caught evps. The first time i went with my bf, my little brother, a friend and her husband while the guys were checking out the tombstones my friend and i heard a man it sounded like he was having a conversation but when i asked my friend if she had heard it the voice stopped. There was no one around but one tombstone, we checked to see if maybe it belonged to a man but it didn't even have a name anymore, just a white cross. I haven't seen anything but every time i go i get something on my recorder. On the second trip we took many evps and on one of them my bf says "hola" and about 20 seconds later you hear a man's voice reply, he says "hola".

Well, I know for a fact that in my backyard there's a prescence. I have read books and seen maps of the old,old west before what is called now chaparral. It used to be a huge fort, somewhat of a "village" that soldiers used to camp out, this belonged to Fort Bliss at the time, now it's only part of the area but it doesn't belong to it. When I go to my backyard late at night, I feel a prescence like someone looking at me from behind, it feels cold sometimes. Sometimes it feels warm and calm, other times I feel very, very sad and melancholy. I've been in tune to these feelings all my life but I ignored them because I was scared, but since 2007 I've been letting go and accepting it. I would like to hear from other hauntings and apparitions, who knows, maybe I can find out what they want!

Apparently my apartment is haunted! PITT is doing an investigation where I live and they've caught some pretty creepy stuff! They're not done yet though with that investigation.
Not to mention, I've experienced some odd things living there: hearing voices (lol, no, not in my head!!), my stuff being moved around, etc...

I've heard that it's not polite to contact ghosts, they don't like it! especially if it's in an aggresive manner, you must create a "gateway" for them to come in and go back where they came from, thus avoiding getting them lost, if lost, you'll be sorry! For those that want to contact the spirit of a loved one, don't bother, "they" will contact you through your dreams if there's something they want to let you know, "they" have already crossed the light. And lastly, those ghosts that you try to or have made contact with, are the ones that have not yet crossed the light, if "they" attach themselves to you, and you are not the "light" to help them cross over, they'll get very angry and possibly cause you harm. Hospitals, Nursing homes, and Airports are the most haunted. Graveyards on the contrary, a ghost needs energy to project energy, and if it's full of dead people, what energy do they gather? Unless you step into a cemetery/graveyard and provoke a reaction through anger, fear, sorrow or hate, or just taunting, "something" is going to feed on that and let you know. These kind of "activities" people think it's "cool", "mysterious" "eerie" "scary", well, if you inform yourself by a professional parapsychologist, you are "VERY" suseptible to possesions, close encounters with death(whether it's you or someone you're close to, even your neighbor(s)), and even second-generation hauntings. So If I was you, I would just respect the dead, be aware that ghosts "do" exist, leave them alone! it's just plain rude having a bunch of strangers (like in these "tours") hovering, being nosy, and disturbing rest! how would you feel if it was YOU being bothered when all you want to do is to be left alone unless someone you know is there to pay your respects and not be a looky-lou nosy, intruder.
