I think that any of the top 5-6 GOP nominees could beat if easily.

As this point only delusional far left hate mongers would vote for him with his track record.

Not enough nutjobs left in the party to get him enough votes to beat anyone who has any strong points.

Palin, Gingrich and a few others would kick his butt badly at this point.

We have 2 years to the election and things could change, but at this point in time Palin would clean his clock if the election were held today.

Face it, he would carry at best 6-7 states in total if the election were held today.

Someone seems to forget this past elections was a vote against Obama and his failures.

I see the loony lefties are out on recess. Such intelligent responses. Schoolyard name calling at it's finest.

Unfortunatly this may be true & I will not refudiate it one bit.

Some people will not vote on experience or the ability to do the job.
They instead vote for those who seem the most 'like themselves'.

I give Obama another year before he resigns or has to step down. Obama and Palin are so evenly matched she could run against him and win.
But we can do better than them.

Someone seems to forget the last Presidential election was at least partially a vote against Palin.

sorry, very few people vote based on the VP candidate. If you think differently you are not paying too much attention. NO, the last election was a vote against Bush as the 1980 election was a vote against Jimmy Carter.

In the words of President George W. Bush Jr. "Bring It On". It would be great to see Sarah Palin run.

The RNC won't let her get within 1,000 miles of the presidential nomination and if she runs as a Tea Partier she'll split the Republican vote. Run, Sarah, Run!!!!

Plus we'll get to see her do some real interviews.

Actually McCain actually had a shot and things where looking good immediately after he picked Palin. Palin's interviews with the media basically made people question McCain's judgment in picking a woman of questionable intellect to say the least. His behavior in the economic crises and the Congressional actions he took prior to the passage of TARP sealed his fate. If McCain has chosen more seasoned and confidence inspiring running mate it would have given him a much better chance at winning in 2008.
