Is he trying to flip flop harder than ever, to make Romney's flip-flops look pale in comparison?

of course. Just like he appeared with Pelosi on TV, endorsing climate change. He also constructed the Contract for America that called for axing the Dept of Education, but he flip-flopped on that and it's still here

He distinguished himself from the other candidates by criticizing Ryan's Medicare vouchers, but then flip flopped on that.

I guess the real issue would be what kind of moron would start campaigning in May when candidates traditionally don't announce until December/January?

He's not very intelligent.

As I said on another post, this is exactly what will happen. You can rest assured Gingrinch and the other idiots will flip-flop 300 more times in the next 6 months and by the time the primaries roll around in January they will have flip-flopped so much no one will have a clue what they stand for.

And of course, Obama will throw that right back in their faces.

where in the world did you get the idea candidates start announcing in Jan? By then there are a dozen debates over and straw polls as well. You are living in the days of primaries held in June. Jan would be about 4 to 6 months too late.
