i will never vote the lesser of the evils...not my style.
So I am guessing that you will not be voting in the Presidential elections? Your man won't be there so it is either don't vote or vote for the lesser of two evils. I am happy that you decided not to vote. My vote will not be canceled out by yours. Thanks partner.
Don't get me wrong. I am not a perry fan, but he seems the lesser of the evils.
I see Paul as the lesser of the evils in the GOP, if he and Obama go head to head I will think long and hard when it comes time to pick. The rest are not worth the effort, Perry I already know as you can tell by my full handle here.

If by "something" you mean "doing nothing" then yeah I agree with you...
That's the thing-- In Texas we would be successful without Rick Perry, Rick Perry doesn't really do anything to help Texas. I'm serious-- he literally... does... nothing. He has no record of accomplishments.
The economic success of Texas has absolutely nothing to do with Rick Perry.
I guess the failures in Washington have nothing to do with Obama, right? Whether you like him or not, isn't the question; you have made your feelings very well known, but when the team does well the coach gets credit and when they don't he gets the blame, thus the success of Texas and the citizens does go partially to him.

I see your point about Paul. He does have his good points on Liberty and Foreign policy, but his domestic policy is very troublesome. If we had a democratic congress and Paul, that would be a good thing. In that situation then the Liberty and FOreign Policy issues would be the only thing that got passed. However, if we had a Republican Congress and Paul, only the crazy domestic issues would get passed. It is a big chance. I think Perry is more moderate on Domestic issues...he is at least not an ideologue...more of a survivor.
A Republican governor in a deep red state for 11 years...what are the odds? Yeah, must be doing something right.
Lemme give you a small history lesson in the housing market. Back in the mid-90's a 2100sqft home in the San Fernando Valley could be had for $150-200k. The housing bubble got so big in California that 10 years later you could sell that house for $600k. Not only was it a great investment, but you could then take a lower-paying job in Frisco because you can now buy a McMansion with cash.
What are you smoking? In the 1990s a 2100 sq ft house could not be had for anywhere near $150,000. Well maybe in some of the slum areas of SF VAlley, but overall that's crazy. and I will also add, that house you might be referring to a few years ago would have sold for closer to $750,000. My brother lives in Simi Valley, we have friends all over So Calif. We had a home there until 1988.
