Edward Crane: Why Ron Paul Matters - WSJ.com

Another great article from "Reason" giving Paul his due. It also talks about voters leaving the major parties since 2008 and compares Paul's campaign with McCain's.
Since 2008, I agree completely.2012 will be a very interesting election. Liberals and R's are voting for Paul. On strictly economic and domestic issues, Paul is the only one who cares about what is happening to America.

I was glad to just read this. I've been wondering if they've made arrangements to monitor the vote count. I guess according to this, they have. Iowa Homestretch! Campaign Requests for IA + Volunteers | Ron Paul 2012 | Peace . Gold . Liberty (http://www.dailypaul.com/197149/important-update-re-campaign-efforts-in-ia-volunteers - broken link)

You Paul people need to suck it up and accept the inevitable. Your man doesn't have a chance - none, nada, zip.

The Obama campaign is praying for one of the weirdo repubs (so many to pick from) to be the candidate. The only GOPers that will give him a run for his money are Romney or Huntsman, and Huntsman can't get any support from his party.

Romney, as wishy washy as he is, could beat Obama, IF he avoids McCain's mistake of choosing an absolute idiot (again, so many to pick from) for a running mate.

You guys are going down, one way or another, so prepare yourself for a long hard fall without the benefit of a golden parachute.

Dream on ray.... just check trends.google.com for the last 30 days and type in the names of the candidates and Ron Paul has DOUBLE the interest as compared to the second most searched for candidate. This holds true, world-wide, nation-wide and in Iowa.

This whole "Santorum surge" is just, I think, was fabricated by the media. Santorum is at the bottom of the top four: Paul, Romney, Gingrich and Santorum.

http://www.google.com/trends?q=Ron+P...ate=mtd&sort=0

I guess Santorum and Romney traded second place but Santorum looks to be headed back down and Ron Paul is in the stratosphere!

It even looks like that in Iowa there isn't even enough search volume on the other candidates to even put them on the graph in SPITE of the media trying like anything to lie and say that they are so popular. You can look at the individual counties and see that some counties ENTIRELY support Ron Paul!

Hey - I'm pulling for Paul. He's the perfect opposition candidate - way too old, a little bit looney, and he squeaks when he talks.

There were over 150 comments at DailyPaul.com of reactions to these interviews and overall everyone thought he handled the attacks well.
So, EVERYONE inside the echo chamber thought paulc did well, HOW SURPRISING.

Looks like Paul has peaked. Consensus: Romney | weaskamerica.com

Beggars can't be choosers. If we want our FREEDOM back we ought to be thankful he is at least running. Nobody else is about to repeal all the outrageous unconstitutional legislation that prior and our current status quo Presidents have passed.

A vote for any of the others is a vote for more SLAVERY and TYRANNY. Is THAT what you want? Do you want even MORE BIG GOVERNMENT stealing from you and telling you how to live? Because that is what you'll get if you vote for anyone else in the major parties (except Gary Johnson).

Yawn, over exuberant Paul supporters "stuffing the ballot box" the same way Cleveland "voted" their way into hosting R& R Hall of Fame.

A small highly vocal fan base doesn't translate into real votes, especially when that vocal base doesn't know how to convert votes. Attacking anyone that questions your candidate is counter productive.
