My God.I have never seen anyone get thoroughly trounced by both sides. Its like every time you put up a thread its gets debunked within two posts. I mean do you like this sort of punishment? Is this some sort of therapy for you?

To conclude. No, there's not chance in hell President Obama cancels the 2012 elections. That doesn't even make any sense. Also if you think for a second that Ron Paul is going to be the Republican candidate then you have...well that's a debate for another time.

In hindsight that may be true, however, there is no way to state that unequivocally. Anything else is simply conjecture.

BTW, why did you think that there hadn't been elections during WWII?

My bet is it wouldn't happen... Keep an eye on the 22nd Amendment... and the 12 member "Super Congress"...

THis might be the most inane thread I've seen on this Forum.
You have an OP who obviously either failed or ignored his classes in American History, who insists that the election of 1944 never happened, and so many people are trying to convince him otherwise.
This whole thread is ridiculous!
Honestly?
I haven't laughed this much in weeks

A couple of decades in the Marine Corps and a few other factors can do that to a person. Lots of ex-military guys have this problem.

No.

Hey, why do you keep dodging my question about the elections of 1940 and 1944?

Don't know who those people are... Watch the "Pat Tillman Story"... Whatever your response is... Tell it to his family...
