What polls are you talking about? All the polls I've seen from today have been pretty positive for Mitt.
Really? The only polls that matter anymore are WI, IA, OH, and (as a backup) NV. Obama leads in all of them and the latest polling continues to strongly suggest that he will win those states. You can forget PA (and MI), it ain't gonna happen for Romney in either of them. I think Obama will take VA too, but the polls there aren't backing me up as strongly. But VA is just icing on the victory cake.
IMO they don't really. I'm just throwing out the updates

The poll referenced, Hartford, about 45% of the respondents identify as Dems to about 35% Republican.
Gallup poll out. Romney lead revised down 1 point. Still a huge outlier from the other polls showing Obama lead in "national" polling. Will be revised down in coming days as well.
Great day for Romney!.....LOL
So two days of post debate polling and Obama is not getting much of a debate bump and looks like his comment of the murders in Libya not being optimal is blowing up. One of the mothers of the victims has come out hard against it.
romney isnt leading PA just because some mickey mouse poll says he is. that poll isnt even listed on 538 or rcp. its also from the examiner which means its not even credible to begin with.
here are the first two official post debate polls:
Iowa: Obama 51 Romney 43
Wisconsin: Obama 51 Romney 45.
with those being solid, that means Obama needs Ohio to win the election.
Michigan/PA are safe blue which is why i dont mention them. NH i assume is still toss up

I've never thought Romney would win PA or MI. But a poll showing him +3 in VA is pretty big. The NH poll is also very good news for him considering it is all post debate.
Again, once people got a look at Romney for themselves, instead of listening to the corrupt MSM repeat obama's LIES and SMEARS, they would realize they were AGAIN being DUPED by obama, just like in 2008.

We'll see what PPP has to say about IA in an hour or so.
Neither of those matter - and PPP is another robo poll with an automated voice that does not call cells phones. Marist, in theory at least, is more reliable. If I were a Romneyan, I would be very worried about the trend I see in early voting in IA. It shows Obama's vaunted ground game there is proving to be everything they said it would be.

It's not that we think Romney will win MI, PA, it's the FACT that if those two states are this close, others, like FL, OH, CO are likely already GONE for obama.
