The results were Obama by an astounding 7 to 1 ratio. Obama-72% Romney-10% and 18% unsure.
I'd agree with all that. I tend to think of Canadians as Hobbits. I traveled through Europe with a friend who had a Canadian passport and the girls treated me like chopped liver when they glanced at my passport. When they spied his passport, it was like they thought he was from Atlantis.

Silver's column had the interesting comment that his and ALL the averaged polls from other analysts agree on an Obama victory, and if Romney wins and they ALL are wrong, it would be quite the surprise.

Yeah, it's not JUST Nate saying that. ALL the "Polls of Polls" say the same thing. Don't get me wrong, Romney HAS had a HUGE surge since the first Presidential Debate - but it hasn't been enough. He's narrowed the gap, but he hasn't eliminated it and now it seems his surge has crested as most of the recent polls show Obama maintaining his lead in the states he's held onto and even beginning to erode the lead Romney built in the swing states he captured in his surge. Will it stay that way? I can't say for sure, but I suspect so - so I STILL say "Obama is going to win".

Bad polling day for Romney

Daily Kos has compiled the results, but it will be reflected in 538 and other aggregators later tonight.

Yes, another good polling day for the President. In Wisconsin, the Indies have returned to the Obama's fold according to the latest survey from Marquette U. Law School. The President now leads among indies by 8 points. After his disastrous debate, he led by only one point.

I has some serious reservations about that last Marquette poll but, unlike unnamed others who frequent the forum, I kept it to myself. Good to see they have righted the ship up there.

Well then he will have plenty of time to really clean dishes in a soup kitchen.
