I've been a bit surprised by McCain's personal hositlity/attacks on President Obama since November 6th. They're not just attacks on Obama administration/Democratic Party programs or proposals ... but personal in nature against the President. He's swung far-right, and extremist in some of his attacks.

Ann Romney told all of the "you people" it was their turn. I guess she forgot about that pesky democracy thing.

Well, it WAS their "turn"!

Interesting - I have been thinking the same.

He has definitely become more openly hostile in his comments.

I've always liked John McCain--it disappoints me. I thought he was a better person than that.

Me too. It doesn't seem to fit with the demeanour he has displayed before.

I can only assume he was very frustrated by the election outcome - I also think that as a man with an outstanding military record he is most likely deeply disappointed with all the tawdry developments concerning Petraeus/Allen and of course by the Benghazi debacle.

They showed a meeting between Obama, McCain and others early in his first term. Obama was pretty arrogant of course and treated McCain badly and talked to him as if he were king. There is no damn wonder people in government don't like Obama, he is an arrogant ass and won't work with anyone. No wonder nothing gets done. I hope Obama goes golfing like he did in his first term.

Obama did another photo shoot on long island today and he did a lot of head bobbing while he made more promises. One lady said, well then step it up... People don't want a pat on the back and to be told it will be ok they want action.. step it up.

I agree that Romney is partly to blame, but I don't think his comment made a difference at all.

This map of people who don't pay income tax proves his "47% comment" is wrong, since most of the states with high poverty levels are red states. In fact, a very conservative site shows a map from the tax Foundation and it shows that most of these states are in the South, a Republican stronghold.

Where Do the 47 Percent Live? | The American Conservative

I received an email from an angry Republican who said the people who voted for Obama were uneducated. So I did some research and learned that the 10 states with the highest number of college graduates chose Obama in 2008 and 2012. The 10 states with the lowest number of college graduates, with the exception of Nevada, were all red states. The poorest and least educated like South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana and others have a much stronger Republican base and voted for Romney.

It's all bullpucky. Republican propaganda. But we all know they don't pay attention to FACTS!

Arrogant? President Obama is probably the most patient and humble leader we've ever seen in our lifetime. However, he's the President, in case you didn't notice. He is the leader of the free world. He deserves respect and, when he doesn't get it, he has every right to show his disapproval. The majority elected him to do a job and that's exactly what he's trying to do. The whiny Republicans don't want to listen to the people, even after being slaughtered in the election.

I would like anyone here who works for a living to say "You lie" to your boss or call him some of the terrible, insulting names (like stupid, lazy) the Republicans have used to describe the Commander-in-Chief of our nation. See if you have a job next week. Most people wouldn't talk about their neighborhood paperboy the way they talk about Obama. It's disgusting.

McCain is still angry because he lost so badly in 2008. He needs to retire and enjoy all his houses.
