Show me where Cantor is for open boarders or amnesty ?
If he was for the immigration reform bill then he was for a very thinly veiled amnesty. A bill that does little to adress the actual problems and is long on wasteful spending. Delay E-Verify 5 years??? And only on future employees??
Gives illegals a free pass on the crimes they have committed a pass that neither you or I would enjoy? Try not paying your taxes for 5 years and see what happens. Let a legal immigrant commit those same crimes and they face deportation. Rewarding criminal behavior is never the answer. That is just common sense.
No economist I know of is against legal or illegal immigration. Brat prides himself as a free market economist, yet he opposes the free movement of people. In other words, he's a protectionist.
Then you don't know any and there is not a single country anywhere that simply allows people to stream across their borders unchecked.
Canada doesn't have economists or are their politicians simply ignoring all their advice?
Obviously ... that particular Congressional district has shifted to or remains out of step with the rest of the country. All Congressional races are about local issues more than anything else. To my way of thinking, Cantor was a horrible Congressman. Someone who frequently expressed his dislike for Americans and America. I don't think the candidate seeking to replace him will be any better. Time will tell ... if his campaign is successful.
Obviously then you must be out of step with the country. He is a horrible Congressman and his district is out of step with the country for voting him out? Did you think this through?
I do not understand Republicans and your attack on the establishment.
Where Do you actually disagree with this man ?
Look all around you. We should have thrown nearly every elected official that was around before 2008 out by now. Especially those in leadership positions.
It has nothing to do with being a Republican, it has to do with not rewarding failure.
Are you seriously asking this? Did you forget the several instances in 2010 and 2012 each when teabagger candidates knocked off more moderate Republicans in GOP districts, only to see the Democrat take the win in the general?
I think you are forgetting what happened in 2010. The Democrats got their clock cleaned.
I honestly hope that this guy is so far right that the Democrat wins. Maybe he should have a microphone stuck to his mouth for a couple days, let him talk; then maybe the Cliven Bundy Effect will happen
Not gonna happen.
BTW....when will your side get rid of some of the nut job socialists in congress?
This will send shock wave thru both parties. Basically a candidate who was out spent 5.4million to 200K is out. I say amnesty is a dead issue as this was clear message has what happened when Bush proposed it and McCain after storm of e-mails etc said we got the message. This was no close race even and likely seen as anti-Washington protest vote both parties need to take in.it Goes long with local and state house votes last election cycle. where tez Party Anti-Washington candidates did very well.
Dems do not primary out their bad eggs. Never will.
