maybe people are tired of the Bush dynasty and want somebody new. Hillary will have the same problem.
She is no Bill Clinton and that's her problem.
I don't think Jeb will win the nomination on just immigration alone.....he is to the left of the party on that.
The dynasty issue is something that can hurt both of them, but it would hurt Jeb more. For starters there is one more Bush. Secondly, while Hillary certainly isn't Bill, the fact Bill left office with approvals in the 60's, doesn't hurt her as much as W leaving office with approvals in the 20's hurts Jeb.
That's not necessarily true. I am a Mex-American who is NOT FOR AMNESTY. most family members don't really care about the issue or are strongly against it like me. My Dad thinks that the illegals are a bunch of crooks just like the kind in Mexico that extract mordidas from travelers. I have reason to believe that she feels the same way about illegals.
As I said, the "majority" of Hispanics who have Mexican roots do want amnesty. That means not all of them do. I commend you for not being in that majority.

I'm not sure about this. I think this "majority" who want amnesty are probably not citizens.
I completely agree with you on the notion if a Bush runs, he thinks he can win, but remember 1980? Everyone including Bush (the dad) assumed he woudl be the nominee; what happened? Resenting the idea of another Bush is one thing, but I still say, you probably are not going to vote Republican anyway. I know you are a registered R you tell us, but you are not very pro the party or it doesn't appear you are.
Given that Karl Rove IS the party at this time, you're right, I'm not pro the party, although there are Republicans I do like, such as Jeff Sessions and Thomas Massie from Kentucky.

Love Jeff Sessions. Now there's a real patriotic American!

Bill left office in 2000 and that's a long time ago..........what will affect Hillary and the democrats chances to keep the WH is the economy and Obama's approval numbers in 2016 which right now is in the low 40's.
6 years in, W Bush and Obama's approval numbers are identical. I will predict Obama's number will continue to go down since he is a lame duck president and his signature legacy is the unpopular Obamacare which is replica of Hillarycare.
Bush left with 750k monthly job losses. We're now seeing 200k+ gains. Momentum of economy is the inverse of W 2008.
those numbers don't mean anything if the general public not see the improvement and how many of those 200k "gains" are part time jobs?
what matters is what the nation feels and looking and obama's approval numbers and the democrats losing the senate, I say the nation is not buying the democrat talking points. Obama has lost lots of credibility after the public learn the truth about obamacare.
