I'm not a supporter of Trump but I think this comparison is not valid. Many of the Jewish people that Hitler hated were citizens of Germany and I don't recall Trump proposing to invade other countries.

[it is not necessary to resort to hyperbole]

You're right he doesn't talk about invading other countries.

Didn't mean to imply that I thought he wanted to invade other countries like Hitler did.

Just the campaign pitch seems to be a little similar to me, since the illegal immigrant thing keeps coming up.

Sounds more like John F Kennedy to me. Is that bad?

You mean like where Trump talks about getting rid of anchor babies? (American citizens)

As for invading other countries.....hes not exactly the sort that screams peaceful interactions.

You'd think people would know Illegal means breaking the law.

I've heard many people say the same. Demonizing one group of people; are they really the cause of ALL our problems?

Yes. It has been noticed.

I don't agree either with your statement. It is not unusual to want to end illegal immigration and to get those living here illegally out as well. I voted for Obama twice and most likely will vote for the democrat nominee, unless it's Clinton, but I have a lot of respect for Trump as of now. He is honest and straight forward, which is so refreshing in politics. I'm still tossing up Biden and Trump, not sure who I would choose as of now, well we don't even know if Biden will run. If he doesn't run and Clinton continues onward, I would most likely vote for Bush over Clinton and that says a lot.

Until he mentions final solutions and lebensraum, comparisons with Hitler are not valid nor necessary. It undermines arguments against him and it makes one look like a foaming-at-the-mouth extremist on the other end of the political spectrum. We don't need that.

Yeah, I kinda agree. The whole hitler comparisons are a bit unproductive. He's got to get a bit more extreme.
