GOP field is still very versatile

Bush, Cruz, Carson, Rubio or others can pick up easily.

Democrats don't have that flexibility.

And they know it
Bush, Cruz and Rubio are highly corrupt, Koch brothers and Wall Street candidates though. Look at how much money they beg and get from these sources. They are lackeys and shills.

I agree. It would probably be the most honest campaign in history if both would ignore their campaign consultants. At least people would really know who they're voting for.

Lotta if's here.

What if Trump wasn't in?
What if Hillary didn't bury herself?

Would've been business(status quo) as usual.
More than likely it would've been Bush vs. Clinton.

Trump really through a wrench in the program with both sides.
Nobody expected this phenomena.
He totally blind sided the D's and R's.
It's great. I'm loving watching both sides sweat like whores in a church.

Now they're seeing Biden as a savior.

I said this well before.

It's probably gonna be Trump v Biden.

For the Republicans benefit I hope Hillary does stay in the race. She is very unlikeable and will be easily beatable.

Many Dems don't even like Hillary and with her you know her weaknesses.

Well.... Not based on that.

It was poll of just 1002 people. There is absolutely no way they can draw conclusions about 320,000,000 people based on such a minute sample and absolutely no independent correlation with the real world.

King Hillary isn't going anywhere. She will stay in the race until she is absolutely voted out. If she has to, the Clintons will battle all the way through the last primary next summer. And even that might not do it. I'm sure they have a number of underhanded tricks to exploit DNC rules at the convention. In the DNC, a delegate isn't a delegate. Some are more important than others.

I'll address this one point.

Other groups I can confidently assure you will vote for the Democrat in 2016 include

  • Asian-Americans. This group voted for the Democrats in an even higher percentage than African-Americans. This is an affluent group that contributes heavily in campaign donations.
  • Younger voters, especially Millennials. Don't dismiss them. Karl Rove blamed this group most of all for Obama's re-election.
  • Jews. The Republicans have coaxed a couple of percentage points of this group in the last couple of elections, but if the GOP nominates a social conservative Christian Evangelist type like Cruz or Huckabee or Santorum ... they will vote overwhelming for the Democrat. Like Asians, their influence is greater than their numbers because of their financial donations.
  • LGBT. This is a voting block that is growing in power and influence. We have seen what happened in Arizona, Indiana, and Arkansas (religious inspired bills were overthrown).
  • People who identify as Environmentalists. They see the GOP in bed with the polluters and the anti-EPA movement.
  • Labor Unions.
Mark my words.

It would be nice if the Democrats had a crystal ball and knew that Trump would win the nomination. That way, they could put up whomever they wanted and be assured of winning the White House - even Sanders. As it is, Trump is not likely to be around much past the end of the year, and the Democrats are going to have to have someone better than Clinton if Kasich or even Bush wins. If Clinton runs the discussion will be all about her and not about the issues, something that does not work in Clinton's favor.
