Trump supporters seem to think that the attendance number at a rally is a sure indication of the votes that he will receive in November.
But it is actually just a sign of rabid fans that want to see fake, scripted, insipid entertainment. Proof? Earlier this year, WWE set a record with 76,976 fans at WrestleMania 31. The same demo clamor to these events.
It is no coincidence that Mr. Trump is a 2013 inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame (yes, seriously). The Hall of Fame Committee must have concluded that Mr. Trump is a master faker and entertainer.

We thought the same thing, but when you consider Trump does not like to be challenged, hates dissent and wants adulation from the audience, it is pretty easy to understand. How do they prove their loyalty to the dear leader? Tattoos, handing over their first born?
Maybe they had to wear the "Trump" sweatshirts like the red one that fat guy was wearing in an interview on the news... You know, the guy who said he didn't have to think because Trump was doing it for him.
Edit to add: I think I was that on the PBS News hour, so probably most people here didn't see that. After all, one of the funding sponsors for that program is the National Endowment for the Arts, and I understand that isn't real popular among republicans.

Nice try buddy. Wanting to sneak in as Trump "supporter" then start screaming? You are busted. It was amusing that the guy was crying over not being able to get in while dripping with despise for Trump. One of them said she stood in line for 6 hours. That is one determined heckler. So now we know there was an effort to scoop up tickets while supporters are left out in the cold. Kudos to event organizers.
I'm thinking it may be more like an inability to count on his part... perhaps part of the reason he had to go through 4 bankruptcies?
