The Austrians aren't the ones with an inherent flaw here.
Truth is treason to some.
The Austrians got one thing right in the entire last century. Color me impressed that they got as lucky as a blind squirrel.

BTW, how long have they been predicting the specter of "hyper-inflation"?

This is the 21st century not the 18th.

Rand Paul is not for open borders. Where did you hear that?

From his website:

https://www.randpaul.com/issue/immigration

Quote:
I do not support amnesty, but rather I support a legal immigration process. I recognize that our country has been enriched by those who seek the American Dream and have a desire for a better life. However, millions of illegal immigrants are crossing our border without our knowledge, and this threatens our national security.

As President, I would secure our border immediately. Before issuing any visas or starting the legal immigration process, we must first ensure that our border is secure.

While serving in the Senate, I introduced legislation that would make immigration reform conditional on Congress voting on whether the border is secure, requiring completion of a border fence in five years and a protection against the federal government establishing a national identification card system for citizens.

My "Trust but Verify" amendment requires Congress to write and enforce a border security blueprint rather than relying on bureaucracies, such as the Department of Homeland Security, to come up with a plan. The amendment also would provide new national security safeguards to track the holders of student visas and those provided asylum and refugee status.

In order to protect our nation and reform the immigration process, we must know who is and is not entering our country by first securing our border.

As President, I would implement my “Trust but Verify” plan and put pressure on the Department of Homeland Security to finally follow through on the broken promise of a secure border and an effective visa tracking system.

Rand Paul is a spoiled rich kid with only two driving principles:

1. Coattail Randy should have a cushy government job.

2. Money should be redistributed from the working class to the wealthy at every opportunity.

That's it. Everything else he does and says is in service to those two goals.

I think you have him confused with Obama.

One of the problems is that about half the country that weren't Ron Paul supporters last time don't even know that Ron Paul and Rand Paul aren't the same person.Even people on here, who by virtue of choosing to be on here one would assume would be interested in politics, often bring up things Ron Paul said/did/supported when discussing Rand Paul.

While father and son agree on some things they are very different people,as fathers and sons often are. Many who were turned off by the dad won't pay any attention to the son, while many who 'worshiped' the dad don't see the son as a 'prophet' worthy of their devotion.

I liked Ron Paul but I actually like Rand a lot better. He is less rigid, more pragmatic than his dad so more likely to accomplish things if given the chance......unfortunately it doesn't look like hes going to 'get the chance'.

By the time my state votes in the primary I doubt that Rand will still be running....if his name is on the ballot i'll vote for him.....not that it will do any good.

In November i'll likely get to vote for Donald Trump........whew......I sure never saw that coming. There must be God....and he must have a sense of humor!!

If anybody ever believed that Randy was a 'libertarian' (in any sense other than upward wealth redistribution, that is), he put that to rest by caucusing with the christian dominist Tea Party.

And confirmed it by arguing in favor of socialism for his doctor buddies.

Yeah, Coattail Randy is all about 'freedom'

Read this slowly. I'll number them to help you out.
1. The Austrians told us the stock market crash was coming in the late 1920s?
2. Or was it because they told us the dotcom boom/bust was coming?
3. Or was it because they told us the housing boom/bust was coming?

Your big government economic failures tell you otherwise?

You have no idea what constitutes inflation so why bring it up?

He is somebody that Moderate Democrats, independents and republicans could all agree with

Why does he continue to be ignored? He's the best candidate in this race hands down
I'd vote for him, but I'm not registering as a republican just to vote in their primary.

Besides, even though I like him, that GOP connection with Congress, etc. makes me nervous. He needs to run as an independent.
