He should spend time on pedophile priests and the slaughter of Christians in ME along with kissing up to Patriarch and zero time on Trump's religion. What's next ... excommunication?
Anyone care to wager what these threads would be like if the Pope called Obama a godless baby killing gay loving Muslim?

He's fighting with the Pope now?!? I thought this surely had to be a joke. Is there no basement for this man? My favorite part was how he said no one had a right to question another man's faith. It didn't seem to bother Mr. Trump when he was implying that there was something wrong with Carson being a 7th Day Adventist or when he has repeatedly said Cruz was no Christian or a bad Christian.

Who is next on his list of people who have offended him? The Queen of England? The Prime Minister of Canada? How about Jesus Christ himself? Sheesh.

^^^^This. Lol.

Just think if Trump had not joined the circus. There might be some real discussion about issues.

Do you consider yourself an authority on who should be Christian?

Nope, the Pope is saying stupid s*@! and Trump is schooling him. This should be good for another 5% boost in Trumps poll numbers.

Catholicism has always perplexed me. Throughout history they killed in the name of the church to the tune of, I would guess, millions. They put a huge priority on money so much so I know a guy that wanted his marriage annulled by the church. So, he paid them money and walla annulled! Priests sexually abused alter boys to the point is was a huge scandal. They build walls around the Vatican, charge people to get in and only allow a specific amount of immigrants if the meet very specific criteria.

Yet, they tell others what is and isn't Christian values and the at same time doing the exact things they accuse others of.

I think the Vatican is quietly not real thrilled with this guy. I also think he opened a box he probably shouldn't have. It would be pretty easy to shred him and the Catholic Church for extreme hypocrisy.

I also heard he said birth control is, after what 1,000's of years, is all the sudden ok. I can't imagine that going over well. The church cherishes conception as the beginning of live but hey, birth controls ok. WTH?

It depends who you are. Catholics are split on this.
One thing we all know is that unless the Pope speaks EX CATHEDRA,
his opinion is just that... an opinion.
