How does one sabotage one's run for President of the United States?

You insult the Pope.

I STILL think Trumpf never expected that he's be doing well in his run - that it was a publicity stunt.....and now that he's in uncharted territory, he's trying to sabotage his run.....but the **** ain't working.

People love him even more the more profane, the more ignorant he gets.

When is the Vatican gonna start feeding and educating all those little gifts from G-d anchor babies?

Perhaps he can send those Vatican guards over to help the needy.

The Pope should not be so political.

This is disgusting.

A certain religious figure from history said something about rendering unto Ceasar that which was Ceasar's and rendering to the Lord that which was the Lord's (not in quotes but close to the KJV). The Pope needs to stick with making Catholic's more Catholic and stay out of the US political process. He should spend time on pedophile priests and the slaughter of Christians in ME along with kissing up to Patriarch and zero time on Trump's religion. What's next ... excommunication?

Hey Pope ... shut up about Trump's religion.

El Nox

This is why I dislike this Pope.

Rather than sticking with religion, he makes political statements and fosters marxist thought. He is the worst Pope we have had in my lifetime.

LOL about the Trumpets bashing the Pope. If Trump walked down 5th avenue and shot people(his scenerio), the Trumpets would blame the victims...maybe come up with some scenario like he rightfully shot them in self-defense or that he was sleepwalking.

The road to Trump's GOP nomination (and landslide loss) continues...
Said it before and I'll say it again. Trump might steal a few states from Cruz in the south but anyone who thinks he's going to win the larger (TX, PA, OH etc..) and coastal states (CA, FL etc..) are dreaming.

Trump is really going over the edge. Now he's bringing ISIS into his beef with the Pope.

Who knows what was really said. All the news I've heard was as the OP said.

I believe the Popes actual message is to help or 'love one another'. I think we all know we have people who are taking without contributing into our system. If we don't do something, eventually we won't be able to 'help' anyone. I don't know that the Pope and Trump are truly in disagreement. I don't know about Trump's true Christianity and I don't care. I have read and seen where he does donate quite a bit of money to charity. Maybe it's for publicity or maybe it's out of the goodness of his heart. Don't know and don't care. I don't want a religious figure for a president. I want someone who is looking out for the best interest of this country. Not sure if Trump is the guy, but we could do worse.
