Also, what about all this talk "they all hate him, nobody will work with him?"

Bwahahahahaha! The proof is in the pudding. They don't hate Cruz and they appear quite pleased to work with Cruz. In fact, it is Donald Trump they appear to be reluctant to work with.

Default Is Cruz 'Stealing' Trump's Nomination?

No, of course not. He is playing by the rules, which of course Donald does not believe should apply to him.

Is Cruz 'Stealing' Trump's Nomination?

So, is Cruz cheating? Only if you consider knowing the rules of the game cheating.

On a broader level, the Trump campaign complains that if they win less than 1,237 delegates but still a plurality, Trump ought to be handed the nomination. This is nonsense. All over the country, various states have run-off election systems in which candidates must gain a majority to win an initial election round outright; if nobody wins a majority, the two top candidates hold a run-off election. That isn’t unfair, and that isn’t stealing.

Trump complaining that he has won the most delegates but not enough to gain the nomination, and therefore ought to be handed the nomination, is the equivalent of a baseball team up 2-1 in the World Series claiming that they should be handed the trophy. It takes four wins to win. And it takes 1,237 delegates to win the nomination.
What is happening is that Ted Cruz is schooling Trump in "the art of the deal" right before our very eyes. And even though he would never be man enough to admit it, Trump knows that Cruz is schooling him, of that you can be certain.

Also, what about all this talk "they all hate him, nobody will work with Ted Cruz?"

You want to see the 'art of the deal' - the presidential politics version, Donald? Watch and learn. Ted Cruz is showing you how it is supposed to be done, by the rules.

Cruz is nothing more than a useful idiot for the establishment. They are funneling delegates to him in an effort to prevent Trump from getting 1237. No matter what, Cruz will not get the nomination.

These delegates that Cruz is recruiting are the ones that make the rules for the convention. Over 80% of all the delegates will be controlled by Trump and Cruz, who will unite to make sure that Rule 40 or something with similar force and effect will be affirmed for this convention. If no changes are passed, the current rule 40 will stand.

Anyway, it will be a Herculean task for the establishment sorts and their donor class supporters to steal this nomination. And if they somehow were to pull it off, not only would they lose the upcoming election for lack of support, this would effectively be the end of the Republican party as we have known it.

No, it is pretty obvious that they can work with Cruz. They are going to have to clean up their act a little bit if he wins the presidency, but that was desperately needed anyway. That will be a good thing.

We know lying Ted is a liar. It's not to much of a stretch to become a thief as we saw when he stole votes from Carson in Iowa. Cruz is being used to loose. The GOP don't mind giving it to Hillary. They only have to wait another 4 years to try again. Meanwhile the gravy keeps on moving down the track.

The liar is Donald Trump and his vulgarian hoard who indiscriminately parrot his lies. If the shoe fits....

I agree, the contest is between Cruz and Trump. Trump stated at last night's rally that he "doesn't care about the rules". That's another indication that he would not be a good President. A totalitarian comes in an pushes everyone around. A statesman leads people to his side. That has been what Ted Cruz has done - patiently and effectively. Ted is a patient man, a statesman, a leader and an ultimate uniter - uniting on principle.

The Establishment haven't been for him in the beginning, because they know they will have to clean up their act, keep their promises and work harder. Now they see the real danger of the wobbling and childish antics of Donald Trump making Ted Cruz the better choice.

Seriously, I don't see how after viewing the list of ALL the flip-flopping antics of Donald Trump how anyone could not view this man as the ultimate charlatan. He has come out of the gate lying, even lying that Ted Cruz is lying. LOL! Trump is a one man circus act.

Of course there are other states where this is going on as well, such as North Dakota, where it appears that Cruz won 18 of 25 delegates that he endorsed in Saturday's party convention there, which is also mentioned in the article above.
What if trump does the same to Cruz...maybe we end up with trump winning even bigger!
