Getting strange now. What does Hillary's speeches got to do with the GOP convention where Melania claimed to write this? No correlation whatsoever. And why would Michelle Obama reference Trump eight years in advance? A lot of flailing going on.
I guess she was smarter that old Biden. He wasn't even smart enough to switch a couple of words - his was actually word for word. But I guess that's OK?

The campaign is probably going to put this on Manafort. They can't get rid of Melania. They are also blaming Manafort for attacking Kasich yesterday.

Seriously, now, what are you people? Eighteen?

A man's word is his bond is a very old expression, though even Lyin' Brian pointed to it as proof of plagiarism with breathless incredulity (and one raised eyebrow).

So who did Michelle Obama steal it from? One of the Rockefellers maybe? Aesop? Did anyone care? Nope.

Democrats fears of a Trump presidency recede as it seems he'll just be copying Obama's policies anyway

The best part about all of this is that this is all people are talking about from day one of the convention. Melania lying killed an entire day of praise Trump speeches from his lapdancers.

I pray a great man like Trump and a wonderful Melania never get to the oval office. The odor and stench of our society isn't where they belong. We don't deserve reconciliation of our debt, defying nature, bankrupting
entitlements, preoccupation with social media, crime, churchless philosopher parents,, muslim expansionism. . Let thIs society stew in their filth and stupidity.

I don't think Melania likes Pence either and reports are she won't go to Pence's speech. So what happens if the Trump campaign dumps Manafort and Pence?

This thread is hilarious. I am especially enjoying watching all the Trump sycophants trying desperately to change the subject. LOL! But the best part is that this is all that is being talked about in every media outlet online and on the air this morning.

It was a disastrous first day for Republicans. And we still have three fun-filled days to go.

Pass the popcorn!

Wow!

This is the best they could do?

It doesn't surprise me that a journalist wouldn't be well-read enough to recognize a common saying such as "a man's word is his bond."

What morons!

And I won't even comment on the people in this thread trying to turn this molehill into a mountain....
