Before I begin, I'll have to mention something, the Khans' son, Humayun Khan, deserves all the honor for serving in the U.S. Military and dying to protect our country, as do all the other men and women who served.
Now on to the topic, Khizr Khan's speech at the convention last week was a pathetic attempt by the Democratic party to gain favor with the American people. He made the implication that if Trump were president, he and his family would not be in this country. Well, I'd like to remind Mr. Khan that the America he immigrated to in 1980 was a completely different country, and we did not have ISIS to worry about infiltrating the refugee population coming into America from countries that support terrorist groups. I'll ask you Mr. Khan, would you allow muslim refugees, with unknown backgrounds, to stay at your house or live in your neighborhood, without fully vetting them to determine if they had any ties to ISIS or other radical Islamic terrorist groups?
I'll have to remind Mr. Khan also that questioning Mr. Trump's knowledge of the U.S. Constitution and offering to give him a copy of it was unwarranted. You are supporting a candidate who will only continue Obama's ongoing effort to destroy the U.S. Constitution and the freedoms it stands for, the same constitution your son fought and died for.
With all due respect- this is the country of freedom and had EVERY right to say what he wanted.
With or with out your blessing sir
Trump isn't helping and it's also not equal footing. If Khan wants to go on TV 5 times a day until they stop inviting him, that's one thing. It's another for Trump not to **** about it as he's the one running for President and digging his own grave that much deeper over a non issue.
(this coming from someone who plans on voting for Trump and would never consider Hillary)
That's certainly true. The DNC, Hillary Clinton, and the mainstream media will not touch this story.
Khan was a plant, a puppet, simply another prop in Hillary's Kabuki Theater. The fact that he made money resettling Muslims into the US makes his appearance at the DNC amazingly disingenuous. He was used as a political pawn, and now he's actually pulled his website down.
Is it still not a total ban on muslim immigrants or do you just not want to admit that little part?
Yes, it's a total ban, but not a permanent one, I only want to see common sense steps taken to make sure nobody with ties to ISIS and other terrorist groups, comes into this country, as opposed Clinton's proposal to increase Syrian refugees coming into this country by 500%, which is totally careless and irresponsible.
With all due respect- this is the country of freedom and had EVERY right to say what he wanted.
With or with out your blessing sir
I'm fully aware of the freedoms, and I agree, Khan has his right to say what he wanted, and you have to remember that we have every right to express our opinions on what he said.
Why does Trump hate Captain Kahn so much. Trumps comments were so terrible. No wonder everyone keeps talking about it.
Because Trump is thin-skinned. Too bad he doesn't have skin like an orange peel.
