Obvious? This point has been made several times in this topic and well addressed. You seemed to have completely missed it.

Cuban is no longer a private citizen when he goes on TV on Clinton's behalf and complains about Trump's taxes.

Yes he is a private citizen. You give up being a private citizen if you run for elected office. How this very simple fact escapes you, I ain't got a clue
