Well, if my only choice for the hire happens to be between two thieves, I guess I get a thief by default.

But perhaps I'd want to compare what the two thieves intend to do with goods they "appropriate" from me.(Their policy for appropriation)

That is in essence what we're looking at anyway.

One wants to appropriate me into ruin. The other just enough to keep me prosperous enough so as to skim some for himself, and keep that gravy train going.

I'll have to go with the one that doesnt want to kill the goose laying the golden eggs. What they say or do in their spare time doesnt really make a difference.

John Huntsman said he would vote for Trump since he was the card dealt but now he's calling for the RNC to have Pence replace Trump.

How do you not worry about their personal glitches when neither really cares an iota about anything except their personal agendas and the lengths they will go to to achieve that with not one sincere thought about how to better serve this country. Their personal glitches carry over and interfere with any semblance of proper governance.

Replace him? Trump will sue the RNC up one side and down the other...it will take weeks or months with court injunctions and depositions. It will cost millions. They need him to humbly withdraw...not likely. Pence would be a traitor to stay on or replace Trump in the eyes of the Trumpers. It's a no win situation. They needed to stop him at the RNC convention.

Trump is about to release a video apologizing for his comments.

Obviously his supporters will eat it up and forgive him, but will it convince everyone else to undo the damage?

See post #41.

It's the choices we have in this cycle.

Don't get it--why anyone would believe he is actually sorry is beyond me.

He doesn't really understand what it feels like to be sorry. In his mind, he is never wrong.

I could see Trump doing some sort of apology, waiting a few days then doing a bunch of 2:00 a.m. golden toilet tweets that would make it worse. I could also see a bunch more footage being released that would nullify any Trump apology.

IF they tried to put up Pence, that will expose much as well, This is the same governor of Indiana, who did support business refusing service to gay people.

Likely if they go through his Radio broadcast, they may find more stuff that describes him as being even more than one who denied, avoided and lied about the things he said and that Trump said. They likely can and will show him as being the puppet he is, as well as the hard core reality of being as I've read a comment, which say's: "he is like Rush Limbaugh on Decaf", likely a very close summary.

This is not someone that is needed any place close to gaining a position in the White House.
