I actually thought that Elizabeth Warren would've been a good VP pick for Hillary given her position on trade deals, etc. And that she could possibly be a good presidential pick in 2020. But now I think she would be a disaster (so I hope Dems nominate her). While her economic views are not so out of whack with many in the Midwest, she's too elitist and talks down on people (especially if they aren't ultra leftist like her). That's not going to win her support among those kind of people. Note, Sanders was a different kind of politician. Although he has the support of most of the far leftists in his party, he still came off as a man of the people, as one who genuinely cared about others vs. one who knew what was best for the "uneducated" and "stupid" plebs.

In terms of viable candidates for the Dems? That's tough. Many of their viable candidates can't get the nomination due to the rabid leftists who dominate the Dem nominating process. But I fully expect Elizabeth Warren, Charlie Crist, David Duke, Al Sharpton, and a few other nut jobs to take a stab at getting the Dem nomination in 2020.

I like Tim Ryan or Cory Booker. We just went real old, it's time to flip the tables and go young.

Speaking of Fuaxcahontas err Goofy err Sen. Warren, does she remind anyone else of Donahue? They both look alike and say the same types of things. My parents hated Donahue. I don't think Warren would sell well outside of costal cities. So yes Dems, do nominate her.

I would love to see Warren run for president, but something tells me that she might want to just stay in the Senate and work her way up there until she is the Senate leader for the Democrats. I think she is much more effective in the Senate than she ever could be as president.

If she keeps shaking her head like a nervous parakeet her hair will fall out, or she will self-destruct long before 2020.

They don't really have anyone that's qualified...

I mean Bernie 'nut job' Sanders?

nancy Pelosi?

Harry Reid?

Joe Biden'?

Those fossils are on their last leg. I mean can anyone really see these 4 in negotiations with Iran, Russia, or coordinating a two State solution in Israel? LOL

If the Dems have done anything wrong, it's that they've stunted their growth for the next 10 years by rotating the same people.

They need new blood...not these dinosaurs.

The short answer...Warren is too old. Plus she's a horrible speaker.

Not in politics, and she is a fantastic speaker unless someone who is dumb doesn't like listening to someone who is clearly much, much smarter than them talk about policies. Warren is an extremely intelligent professor and Senator.
