I am still hoping Dems push for a candidate that has military experience, ability to compromise reach across the aisle, lessen tax burdens & possibly do away with the IRS, improve social services/mental health, legalize marijuana, abolish the death penalty, be tough on big banks, reduce red tape & regulation in the Government, support NASA, be a big supporter of the environment, LGBT supporter, neutrality unless warranted in regards to police/community relations, and support State run single-payer health care.

I'd like a bumper sticker if Al Franken runs with Jill Stein.

No way about Jim Webb. He doesn't have the fire in his belly. He actually kinda, sorta ran in 2016. The big, tough ex-marine-boxing champion rolled over and stuck his legs in the air when confronted by Madame in the Dem's presidential debate. He was practically invisible. He then skipped out on an important party function to drive his daughter to college. Complete wuss.

I can see somebody like Al Franken or Sherrod Brown taking the baton from Bernie and leading the socialist charge. Elizabeth Warren always has to be a factor too. Cory Book is just a very minor league Obama without the charisma. He does look cool though with that shaved head.

Remember democrats have 25 senators up for re-election and the republicans have only 8. Some of those democratic seats are in states that Trump won in the presidential election. So I suggest democrats don't get so excited about any change coming any time soon. In fact it may just get worst.
Ha! We were just at our financial guy's office yesterday. He said (paraphrasing, of course) "The bubble is going to burst; it can't go on like this much longer. We just don't know when." We don't exactly talk politics with him, but he tends conservative.

Hickenlooper is not running for president; has no PAC.
John Hickenlooper won't run for president in 2020, he says

Problem is with all his lies and bs will he actually help the country or just claim to have helped the country as in his bizarre reality everything is wonderful and perfect disagree and you are an enemy of the state or a victim of fake news.

Think Webb dropped out due to the direction of the Democratic Party, similar to him turning down the VP position in 2008, and the DNC favortism to Clinton.

That's why if we had a more Center leaning Democrat feel Webb would accept the VP position. This he make an excellent VP.
