My money is on either Hank Johnson or Maxine Waters. They best represent the Democratic Party of today.
Hank Johnson, the genius who on record was concerned that if too many people were on Guam then the island would "tip over and capsize". With an intellect like that then yeah, he sounds about representative of the common smarts of democrats.

Also the architect behind Hillary's failed 2008 bid to become President. The VA governorship was his prize for loyalty to Hillary despite that stunning loss.
Now he hits that he might run for Democrat nominee to be President in 2020.
What do you think of his chances?
He has 0 Chance.
As for your argument about the VA governorship, you are wrong. At best, the chairmanship was his because of Clinton support in the 1990's.
He was the Dem nominee for governor because he was an awesome fundraiser who got the DNC out of debt and is responsible for Democrats winning those governorships and 2 senate seats in Virginia.
This would be like Ken Lay (Enron) running for the Republicans. But I guess for Democrats, his past would not be a problem for them as long as he towed the party line and talking points.
Winnick was the founder of Global Crossing, a fiber optic company that earned McAuliffe $8 million on an initial investment of $100,000—a deal he accessed because he was working as a consultant to Winnick before the company went public. Winnick had been an acolyte of junk bond king Michael Milken before starting Global Crossing. His management of Global Crossing has been compared with Ken Lay's leadership of Enron. He and other top executives hid the company's losses and cashed out more than a billion in stock before the company collapsed in 2002 and caused $54 billion in shareholder losses. Lots of people thought Winnick should have gone to jail, but he avoided any serious federal action. McAuliffe cashed out his shares in Global Crossing before it crashed and was not accused of any wrongdoing, but his profiteering in this case has been a political liability for him.

But unlike Ken Lay, McAuliffe did in fact become governor of a state.
Hillary and Terry are interchangable. That should tell you what I think. A big Wall Street, big business hack. The left will come down harder on him than the right.
It has nothing to do with his status as a member of any minority group, and everything to with his commitment to a progressive agenda that is completely out of touch with reality.
That and the refusal of the DNC to support him. I believe that was the real reason BS lost to Hillary in the primaries. As some of the released e-mails revealed.
