We should call this quits before a hot war ignites. What would that look like? I have no idea. But it's better than the alternative.

Believe me now, or believe me in 10-15 years when things are infinitely worse. But you will likely come to believe me.

I won't say Franken wouldn't win, but I don't think that he would fare as well as did Sanders. I think that a Franken v.Trump election outcome would look much like the last election outcome.
None of this matters as none of it can be proven but I think Franken does better against Trump than Hillary did. But after what we have learned what the DNC did to Sanders supporters they are not going to support an establishment pick going forward and that is who Franken would be.

I agree on the last part, which will further push what I propose in the first part of my post. We're faster rolling toward the inevitable.

What do you want from the Democrats? Saint Bernard?

I mean, I like him and all, but come on. There has to come a time when people realize that all this fringe politics is divisive.
I'm not going to BS anyone about this. He would be a formidable candidate. Regardless of the one liners and jokes that will follow.

Hmmmm, Franken seems to be a bit of an outsider that cares about the working class and opposes corporatism and Wall-street.

Knowing that the DNC will sabotage him in the primaries.

Not really. He's a white male. His democratic opponent will be pushing how he's racist and anti-woman at voters and apparently that stuff sells in the primary.

Doesn't matter who makes the jokes because Franken will end up with the last laugh once he's selected as the Democratic candidate. The guy already has a great sense of humor so his experience coupled with his knack for diplomacy should get him far. Saw him on Bill Maher a few weeks ago and was really impressed with him...

I would love to see him and/or Booker in the running for 2020!
