I don't think Cuomo is right for the national stage, but let's not just make stuff up.
he didn't really cap the property taxes...its a 2% cap...and he reduced the break veterans and seniors get on their property taxes

I pay over 13k in property taxes (there are 2 taxes..the small one is county which covers the county police....and the big one which is the town (school)) for a tiny 1400sf house on a tiny 60x120 lot

and he has increased nearly every tax/fee there is these nickel and dime taxes are killing us

Democrats should humble themselves and ask Rand Paul.....
He was my choice over all the candidates

If none of these names on the POTUS or VP for the Democrat ticket for 2020 I'll vote Third Party again.
Then you will be helping Trump win, if he runs again.

I know you are a Repub, so this is a joke. Maxine is too old and talks way too much.

I really question if a woman can win in 2020. Sad, but there is still a lot of discrimination and chauvinism out there, sad to say.

One of the most surprising developments to come out of 2016 to me is the militancy of women. Why it has risen so widely and strongly is something I'll leave to others, but this isn't at all like what the women's movement of the 1970s was at all.

The most interesting thing to me is these women aren't from one dominating demographic- they're not all white, middle-class, Christians and/or Jews, they are women of all ages, races, religions, economic levels, and even political parties.

As a man, I'm having a hard time sometimes trying to understand some of their issues, but it's very obvious that American women are coming together in a unification that's entirely gender-specific, and they all seem to share a lot of passion, even if their issues differ among themselves.

And the movement, if it's a movement at all, seems to be growing even faster after Trump came into office. These women support each other in many ways men do not, and they seem to be the most inclusive of any group I've ever seen. Their inclusiveness transcends most of our political and social divisions.

Given all that, I think that it's entirely possible that a dark horse might arise from them, especially if they all get their act together at the same rate its happening now.

I know this: when the woman of the house becomes committed to something, the rest of the family comes along with them. The old saying "When Mama ain't happy, there ain't nobody happy." is very true.

We all just saw what one relatively small disaffected portion of our voters can accomplish when given the right person who reaches them. For sure, women are a much more potent political force than that group. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a fiery and tough-minded lady take the oath of office after the 2020 election.

I don't know who she could be, but I know she is out there.

Obama really was Ana analogy. The Democrats don't really have any strong candidates besides him
