Those "red" counties produce the vast majority of food and energy consumed in the US... the 64% would collapse without us.

The 64% is willing to give it a go. With what they would save by not having to support the 36%, they can go out to dinner and eat imported food.

And about those agricultural subsidies...wtf?

Most of the Farm Bill goes to paying for welfare and food stamps. The rest subsidizes YOUR food costs, if they didn't do it food prices would go up. I'm sure farmers would be happy to have you pay more for their goods.
