Wait, what? He was planning on a concession speech? He was not going to blame voter fraud, demand recounts and/or blame the Russians and Fake News???

So why hold posters here on CDF to a higher standard than you do your own guy, Pres-Elect Clown?
But you see, some posters that dislike Trump with a passion weren't name calling, obnoxious, childish with their posts. I have no problem giving them a pat on the back. Some pro Hillary people were so obsessed that they couldn't even fathom any thought whatsoever that the polls might be wrong unless of course the polls showed Trump with a slight lead or within the margin of error.
I remember one poster in particularly in the Polls thread that would immediately dismiss any poll that wasn't pro Clinton. Some pro Clinton people must have stayed up 24/7 looking at every poll and dismissing them unless it showed Clinton with a huge lead. They guarded that thread as if they owned it.
At least you can admit you were wrong unlike some others here that still continue to cry that the election was rigged for Trump and are even talking about having a revote.

Trump was saying things could be happening in Wisconsin and Michigan. His last minute tweet brought 31 thousand people out at 1 am in the morning the last day of campaigning. Lot of people showed for a last minute rally.

  • The president-elect said he was planning on concession speech
  • Trump said he figured he’d thank guests and ‘I’m out of there’

Only fanatical, bind followers expected him to win, imo......

Trump is being humble to the crowd and making fun of the MSM......if Trump and his team thought he was going to lose, he wouldn't have gone to the BLUE WALL states before the election, their internal polling showed things were tight and so did the Hillary Campaign when she sent Obama to Michigan to bring out the black vote and She had to bring the big guns artists like Bruce Springsteen and Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi and Kate Perry and Cher to campaign in Philadelphia before the election, a state she had in the bag after the Democrat convention according to the media polls.

every candidate that is not arrogant have 2 speeches, one if they lose and one if they win.....Trump had both.....except Hillary, that's why she needed until the next day to give her speech, she had to cry, kick and scream at Bill for a few hours first......

you are still clueless.........Trump's and Hillary's internal polling showed things were tight in the Blue Wall States. That is the only explanation why Trump and Hillary campaigned hard in the Blue Wall States days before the election.

People were making fun of Trump for going to Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania days before the election, Trump won all those states for the exception of Minnesota which Trump lost by only 1.5%, a heavy Democrat state that Hillary should have won by double digits...if Trump campaigned more in Minnesota and spend a little money there, he takes Minnesota also.

What else is there to say?

Seriously.

you still don't get Trump....he was being sarcastic in a funny way...................he was talking about the exit polls which were WRONG in 2016 like they were in 2004 which had Kerry winning. W BUSH people told him that things looked bad after the exit polls and he prepared for defeat but once again it shows Exit polls are garbage.

you want to know how they felt before the election?.....look where Trump and Hillary were campaigning before the election....ALL BLUE WALL STATES!.......That shows you, Hillary was in trouble in those states.

Days before the election Trump was in Florida, Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania......the last 4 are very democrat states and Trump was there campaigning hard, is that a sign of defeat?????

he won all those states and came 1.5% of winning Minnesota, the last Republican that won Minnesota was Nixon in 1972......if Trump had more time he takes Minnesota.

Trump and his camp knew they had a good shot at cracking that BLUE WALL except you, democrats and the MSM.

You need to look up what Hillary actually said when she described half of Trump supporters as deplorables: "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, islamophobic, you name it".
If THAT'S something you take pride in being, then you have my sympathy.

You're swaying off topic but I have to ask. Deplorables as explained hundreds of times here and elsewhere refers to the subset of people who support Trump who are racist, sexist, homophobic or xenophobic. Takes a bold person to come out and admit your faults. Hopefully you can change, but I seriously doubt it. Those are some beliefs many pick up in childhood.
