moral decently I agree with you, good candidate for the Democrats, Heck no, not all people, even democrats are socialists. That is what he is and no way are we gong to elect one to run our country. He would have been
defeated so bad it wouldn't have been funny.

Bernie seems reasonable and I would have voted for him if I was American, but maybe he's too unconventional for America. Although Trump is also unconventional, he's very American.

It's a shame it didn't happen, and not just because of my personal preference for Sanders. It would have been a classic election about which direction this country would go.
What you are saying doesn't make a lot of sense; you are saying those very liberal states that went for Trump would have gone to Bernie, if they are so liberal they would have gone for Hillary over a supposedly conservative. He would never and I mean never had carried Iowa or Florida for that matter. In fact had he gotten the nomination it would have been a big victory for the GOP, not one that was won because of the electoral college. Like him or hate him, he would never and will never be president.

and, yes, I am sure many of us are unhappy with the frictions between the two parties, but only cow, don't put that on Trump or the right side. This has been going on since the election of Obama. It is not new, nor would the 2 sides have worked together if your hero had won.

I've covered this many times. Hillary lost Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania because those who are sick and tired of the (D)'s war mongering and slobbering over Wall Street simply didn't vote. They would have for Bernie. Bernie beat Hillary in two of the states. Michigan and Wisconsin simply wanted little to do with her.

They didn't support Trump, they simply refused to support Hillary.

He didnt have to win them.

No it's because middle America felt left behind by both parties. The last thing they want to see is the presidency switching between bush bush clinton clinton bush bush clinton. The DNC chose Hillary and colluded against Bernie. They deserve the loss yet nobody not even in the media want to talk about what the DNC did.

For much of the media, the crime was in exposing the cheating, not the cheating itself.

I think Bernie could have won. People have mentioned that being a democratic socialist (not the same as a socialist) could give some voters pause, but some of the things that Trump promised while campaigning (healthcare for everyone--remember how he said no one would be dying in the streets from lack of healthcare if elected) and looking out for the working people, coincided with the Sanders campaign (and with democratic socialism). Additionally, in terms of the 2nd Amendment, Bernie's voting record and policy positions have actually been pretty hands off. There was more common ground between Sanders supporters and Trump supporters than many might expect.

Especially where it counted. A dislike for Hillary.

Go on Bernie's facebook page and you see tons of people calling him a communist traitor. Imagine if he would have won.

Guaranteed that if Bernie would have won the nomination you'd see a lot of people accusing him of calling for confiscation of private property and reparations. Guaranteed.

Trump would have convinced people that Bernie was going to steal their 401K's to give it to Black Lives Matter
