In considering how things can play out, Tulsi Gabbard might be an interesting candidate.
For some reason conservatives seem particularly infatuated with Tulsi Gabbard. I haven't seen much actual hype for her out in the liberal news/blogosphere. I've only seen her name put forth by non-liberals on CD.
A candidate will show up after the 2018 midterms. This is pretty much how it always happens.
Did anyone think that Donald Jackass Trump would be the Presidential nominee (or the President, for that matter), back in 2013? Nope.
Hell, I didn't think he'd be the nominee in 2016, because I didn't realize how screwed up the party was. But, here we are.
you are right, that is plenty of time and as for DJ Trump, heck how many thought he would be the president as late as the first week in Nov 2016? I voted for him, but never thought he would win.
All along the inner circle is saying Howard Schultz.
Today there is buzz about a Joe Biden /Sally Yates ticket.
That would work.
OMG, do you have any idea how old Biden will be in 2020? How do you know so much about what the inner circles are saying and how many inner circles said Trump in 2016? Most seem to be saying: Bush. They not only didn't say Trump, they didn't say Cruz would run second.
