Think about it, if no one was a victim and had their house and owned their own business, democrats would be out of a job. So, they tax the hell out of the business owners and middle class, or burden them with impossible regulations for home building or business ownership so no one can really get ahead in this world. Unless you are just lucky enough to be able to play sports, sing or act, you are pretty much screwed in a democratic controlled stronghold.

Now add in, the Dem base, the under-educated inner city resident is far less likely to vote in off year elections, but the GOP base, largely suburban and rural who follow the news on a daily basis, will vote, as they always do, in off year elections.
