McCain started a pi$$ing contest to show how much he cares. All this after being a part of establishment that sent soldiers to an un-needed Iraqi war that cost the lives of 4000+ soldiers & tens of thousands of casualties! Obama countered his band with disdain towards McCain.

You may think that, but how made that Obama look to bring it up after McCain... like a kid that needs attention too.

I think brattpowered is right. McCain was the one who originally brought it up. In the end, the point McCain was trying to make was that there are families out there who don't want us to to leave this war as losers. While, Obama was stating in his response that there are people JUST like that lady who want us to get their children out of there. Obama's poitn was proving that just because McCain got a braclet and talked to a mom of a dead soldier doesn't mean ALL mom's of a dead soldiers feel the same way as that mom.

I think it was scummy that McCain brought it up at all. Saying he promised this mom of a dead child that he would make SURE he would win this war in Iraq. So basically, that's saying to the America people, if you VOTE OBAMA you are ruining this POOR woman's (with a dead kid) dream...and making McCain break his PROMISE.

Obama unconditional talking to the president of Iran and stating that the president is probable not the most important person in Iran.

Obama not answering the questions.

Obama has no clue about strategy and has no experience to be the president and to be on the smae level with other foreign leaders.... Biden might have that but he is the VP and not more than 9000 votes did he get, so we all know how many people think he is qualified to do the job.

etc.....
You are correct about Obama and Kissinger, he was wrong. Obama was correct about the President of Iran not being the most powerful person. The President of Iran is #2 in command behind the Supreme Leader of Iran. Ahamanjendhidahdeadhdhid is more visible so the average person doesn't know this.

Well, Obama had no choice but to go there since McCain had to play the "patroitism" and "war" points by even bringing up the braclet, trying to imply that he supports the troops and hinting that Obama does not.

It also seemed dismissive of the woman who gave McCain the bracelet and her son.

Of course he had a choice. He could have said he understood the woman and that her son gave the ultimate sacrifice instead of implying his bracelet cancelled out McCain's. Lame attempt to keep score by BO.

Is that presidential? I really thought there were too many times that Obama behaved not like a presidential cadidate although he did better than I expected but McCain was outstanding after having to warm up for 5 min.
Obama was going down the longer he was speaking.
I think it was perfect. It basically said, you can tell your sob stories like you're the only one who's fighting for the people, but let me tell you that you're only fighting for some of them, the ones who convienetly agree with you. I agree with Obama's stance and frankly think that any military family should also be looking to avoid more bloodshed rather than try to "win" an un-winable war by keeping our troops in harms way.
