Like my father, he has dual citizenship(Spain), he was born here in the US, but my grandparents are from Spain. In other words my father cant run for president since he has dual citizenship.
My question is, what makes you think he is not a citizen or that he is a dual citizen? Is anyone questioning McCain or Palin? (Yes, I know about the McCain questions, but they are not accompanied with anything approaching the level of xenophobia/racial paranoia as the ones surrounding the American-born Barack Obama).

You are aware this smearing stems from the Clinton's and their crazy lawyer.....Has nothing to do with McCain.....
Now if you would like to discuss the links and emails that prove the Obama Campaign started the smear campaign on Palin we can discuss that!
There is at least one thread with the proof on here already....

I read the thread, and I found absolutely nothing logical to support any of the questioning of Obama. Aside from paranoia and innuendo, what have you found?

Can you answer the following with sources?

1. Where he was born?
2. Did his mother renounce his citizenship?
3. Did he regain his citizenship IF the answer to #2 is yes.

As I stated earlier, these questions are nothing but mere innuendo. You can question anyone's birth; it doesn't mean that your questions have any basis in a possible factual discrepancy. Again, your sources for this would be no better than mine, since I did not attend his birth. But you have no real reason to question his birthplace.

But I do know this. His mother could not have renounced his citizenship, even if she wanted to.

I dont think he has dual citizenship, but he could.
why?
1. father from Kenya, he could have it, if his father filled all the paper work.
2. Lived and went to PUBLIC school in Malaysia, again usually public schools requires citizenship.
------------------------------------------------
If McCain study on public school in Panama or any other country it would be the same story.
If McCain had a Panama mother the same.
And again I think this is all BS. But really, Obama lawyer is not doing a good job.

This simply is not true. My grandson went to schools in several different countries and was not a citizen of any country but the U.S. My nephew was born in Nigeria to American parents, went to school in France as well as the U.S. and has never been anything but a U.S. citizen. I have very close friends who were born in Cuba to missionary parents, grew up in Venezuela
when their parents were transferred there, and were only in the U.S. for a few weeks at a time until they were grown. They have always been U.S. citizens only. I should be shocked that people know so little about how citizenship works but given how few are taught Civics in school these days I guess I'm not.

1. You can be born ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD and if you are born to U.S. citizens you are a citizen.
2. You can be born to people who are NOT citizens BUT if you are born in the U.S. you ARE a citizen.
3. NO ONE can renounce your citizenship except you yourself and then ONLY if you are over 18 and can prove that you understand what your action means.
4. Having parents who were born in another country does NOT automatically give you dual citizenship. Being born in another country does NOT automatically give you dual citizenship in that country...for example, my nephew was never a citizen of Nigeria and my friends were never citizens of Cuba.
These are the facts and can be confirmed very easily by going online and reading the regulations and laws governing citizenship. Your time would be better spent doing this instead of just spewing nonsense over and over again. If you find it too difficult to understand, call a lawyer that deals with citizenship and have them explain it very carefully to you. If this is as important to you as you say it is, it should be important enough to invest some time and money in clearing it up in your mind.

You would need to look up how Indonesia ran their country.
They were/are very strict concerning citizenship.
His mother would have to renounce her citizenship, and Obama's to gain citizenship in that country.

Either way it's up to the law to decide.
Actually, no, we wouldn't have to look up Indonesia's laws. Indonesia's citizenship rules have NO bearing. If American rules state that a minor cannot renounce citizenship, then obviously, A MINOR CANNOT RENOUNCE AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP. It doesn't matter if he moved to Mars or a planet far, far away.
