Oakridge Oregon's supply come from a series of holding tanks supplied by wells near a local creek. The water rate seems high to me @ $3.63/1000 gallons. In addition, the water does not taste particularly good. Some of our neighbors even buy bottled water instead of city water. Average rates nationally are about $1.50/1000 gallons, so we are quite a bit higher then that.

My question is for other Oakridge residents; If you have a well, how deep did you have to dig, and about how many gallons per minute do you get? Any other information about wells that you care to share would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim
