You think my post was ironic? So, you think I'm prejudiced? Or am I missing something?
Yes you are missing something)))
Davy 040 has a lot of prejudice against Russians and he is not making secret out of it.
(Negative personal experience you know... )
1. Czech Republic -> probably doing the best from all these countries in terms of economic stability.
2. Croatia -> climate(continental & mediterranean), beauty (by far the most gorgeous country in europe).
3. Slovenia -> the smallest but very compact and close to some major cities.
I would personally move to Croatia since it offers what the Czech Republic has, but then again Croatia is a way more prettier country as a whole.
But then again Czech Republics economy and stability is better, although Croatia is entering the EU in 2013 so hopefully things will change for them.
I'd choose Bulgaria just because I have close friends there; however, the people are friendly, the scenery is beautiful, and the food and wine are excellent and inexpensive.
I picked Croatia and would try to live some place like Dubrovnik. It's adjacent to Italy and I'm sure it would have the same coastal climatic patterns as those of Adriatic Italy.
Dubrovnik is adjacent to Italy if you're going by boat! Otherwise you're in for a bit of a long drive.
The Istrian Peninsula in far northwestern Croatia is much closer to Italy if you're going by car, and most of the ethnic Italians (i.e. the ones that didn't leave after WWII) are concentrated there. And then there's Slovenia. People are often astonished to learn that it is in fact Slovenia and not Croatia that shares a border with Italy (stretching from the sea to the high Alps/Austria). Granted, it takes about 25 minutes to get from the Slovene-Italian border to the Slovene-Croatian border if the traffic is light.
