Russia would be a valuable addition, with all the natural resources and strong military they have, but they won't play second fiddle to Germany.

I didn't include Turkey because it withdrew its EU application I think. Also the EU has made it clear they won't accept Turkey as a member, while they have supported the long-term joining of the other countries listed, except for maybe Russia, Belarus, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. Even Georgia has a partnership agreement with the EU and waves the EU flag all over the country!!!

Part of Turkey is in Europe, but the EU has never been limited to geographical Europe. Cyprus is in the EU, yet is located further East than Turkey.

The same as all the other countries I left out. They may be great with awesome people there but all I ever met (who lived in Germany) were scummy. Sorry, no offense, but this is my personal observation.
