P.S. I think the "Eurounews" journalists need to change their tune a bit, and to come up with a story for a change, with a main character hailing from some middle eastern village, his/her life dreams to move to EU, and how those dreams have been crushed by the disheartening Polish border patrol. ( Or Lithuanian for this matter.)
Why should we always sob about the tragic fate of the Belorussians, following the news coming from that part of EU?
Tell us about Mohammed or Khalid and his life struggles to reach EU, only to be confronted by the EE border patrol)))
In spite of all the claims there, it's yet again pure Russian, nothing else.
Enough already.
I tell you what; there is nothing better than old Soviet cartoons in Russian language anyways.
So sit down and watch the story that Ole Lukoje is going to tell you.
( Colorful umbrella is for good children and cool and interesting dreams, black umbrella is for bad children, who won't see any dreams when they sleep.)
And guess what fairy tale he is presenting here; happy watching!)))
You need to brush on your Russian already after all the time you devote to the subject
I've been watching the evolving protest movement in Belarus from the U.S., and I am very impressed by the bravery of the people there. Most of us in the West have no idea how dangerous it is for them to oppose their government. I hope they are successful in their quest for Democracy. I have much respect and hope for the people there. I've met people from Belarus, and they are wonderful, friendly people. Good luck to all!
Yeah, we've seen color revolutions sponsored by the State Department and funded by Soros play themselves out in a number of countries now including our own. Hopefully this one will fail and Lukashenko will continue his presidency.
Poland sent troops to Afghanistan to help keep it at heel. The corruption and strife which has created the country we see today is partly Polands fault.
And Lithuania is doing it's best to cut it's own throat. Belarus and Russia are already cutting commerce with all the Baltic States, no more shipping revenue from the ports in those countries.
