People generally like nice people regardless where they came from.
Those who are loud, rude, demanding, obscene, ill-mannered or demeaning - not so much.

I generally agree with this, but even loud, rude, demanding, obscene, ill-mannered and demeaning individuals can be cooperative and functional when it comes to practical matters of mutual benefit, at least for a time being ... and life is a series of short runs. So.

I have citizenship of both the US and a European country, and have lived in both, and several others, for significant periods of time, in a series of short runs.
In my experience I have casually observed that the vast majority of humans, including Americans and Europeans, focus the vast majority of their own energies on their own daily lives, in a series of short runs.

Yeah, sure, why not? Unless there's a specific reason for not liking a particular individual at a given point in time.
Of all the Europeans whom I have known, I cannot say that I've harbored a particular dislike for any one of them for no particular reason for any lengthy period of time.

Beyond the superficial nature of this topic, there’s another interesting thing to consider. When the US declared independence, it did so in part as a rejection of European ideals, especially those concerning monarchy and feudalism.
