It's great cardio but just break it up maybe. Do a 2 min warm-up with the jump rope, even if you have to go slow. Stretch. Then set up your routine.
Give yourself 15 mins to do as many rounds of 3 exercises you can. Example: 30 Single Unders, 30 Burpees, and 30 wall balls. Obviously this can be adjusted for your needs and level. Then do another set of 3 exercises for 15 more mins, one of them being the jump rope. There's your 30 mins!

Just keep at it, it gets easier! I am working on trying to get consistent double-unders
